Saturday 2nd December 8pm

Micky Bartlett

Micky Bartlett has hit 30 and he’s unapologetically taking on the big issues: racism, sexism, his doctor telling him to avoid dairy. Don’t miss Northern Ireland’s favourite stand-up from BBC’s Bad Language, Monumental and Radio 4’s State of the Nations with his funniest hour yet. Or so he hopes…bloody typical!

‘Consistently funny… In years to come, people will be talking about the first time they saw Micky Bartlett’ (Adam Hills).

‘A stand-up natural with great command of the audience and engaging everyman… A masterful way of delivering with punch and style… for a devastating pay-off. Impressive!’ **** (Chortle.co.uk).
Tickets £12

Ali Baba And the Naughty Thieves

For families with children aged 4 years +

The perfect festive outing for you and your family, school or youth group.

Ali Baba's in a fix! He wants to marry his neighbour and girlfriend, the quick-witted Morgianna. However, as a brainless woodcutter with no money, a wedding seems altogether out of the question until he stumbles upon a magiccave containing riches beyond his wildest dreams.

Unfortunately, all the treasure belongs to some rather "naughtythieves" who plan to reclaim it!

From Riverbank Productions, the company who brought you "Goldilocks and the Grumpy Bears" and "Red Riding Hood And the Silly Wolf", this show contains all the ingredients for a traditional panto: A comical hero; his beautiful and clever fiancée; a panto dame (Morgianna's mum), Kamaria the villain and her fellow naughty thieves; puppets; popular hits from 2017 with an Ali Baba twist, colourful costumes and lots of audience participation.

Come along to the Riverside Theatre, Coleraine to see "Ali Baba And The Naughty Thieves", suitable for all the family and especially for children aged 5 to 10 - It'll be an "Arabian Night" to remember!

Young ballerina Victoria Page (Moira Shearer) is poised for superstardom , but under the authoritarian rule of charismatic ballet impressario Boris Lermontov (Anton Walbrook) there is a heavy price to pay. The Red Shoes is one of the best-looking movies ever made, and blends multiple moods and styles with balletic grace.

28 December at 19:30–21:30

George Orwell's cautionary novel comes to the screen. Winston Smith (John Hurt), a bureaucratic flunky living in a totalitarian state, breaks the law by falling in love with Julia (Suzanna Hamilton). Attempting to escape, Winston and Julia are tracked down by the Thought Police and "re-educated" into loving the State. As relevant a tale today as it ever was.
